My friend just decided to get rid of MobileMe since she had trouble losing calendar/contact info (XP machine) on her PC and when she went to Apple for help they sent her to MobileMe which only offered a chat session. I don't think MobileMe is really a Apple application and is probably too complex for a non-technical person.

Is there a mobileme equivalent out there for us PC/blackberry non-corporate users? I have vista and outlook 2007 and a blackberry 8830. Would love a reliable wireless sync utility.

Walt,

Regarding syncing MobileMe to Blackberry or Treos. Yes, this is indeed doable on a mac. (your suggestion appears a Windows solution if I am not mistaken) On the mac, simply use MissingSync for Blackberry or palm (or WinMobile for that matter), and MissingSync uses Sync services, and the Mac Ad book, and Calendar aps, to sync to Blackberries and Treos.

MobileMe syncs to Ad book, and Calendar, and then MissingSync syncs that information on to the 3rd party handhelds. (which I am sure you know about)
