I once had a WinMobile PDA/phone, (T-Mobile MDA) and it DRMd the memory cards, presumably to allow you to play "plays for sure" music, but the practical effect was WinMobile DRMd your photos! - you could not copy them off to a PC with a card reader! I have heard that Vista shares this "feature" - especially with video. The DVD of your home movies that you burn won't play on a DVD player, or another computer!

Re: Passwords and sensitive sites. The logical choice is a Vidoop account. myVidoop is a free tool that securely remembers all of your usernames and passwords. I've been using Vidoop for months and it's an easy, reassuring solution to password security.
It manages your entire online identity and also acts as an ID provider for the 1000s of sites that currently accept Open ID.
Try it out and sign up at myVidoop.com.
